Tucci is back, and he's bringing the magic of Italy with him.
Are you watching Tucci in Italy yet? It’s got the same vibe as Searching for Italy—the beloved show that CNN inexplicably pulled the plug on three years ago. Now, to the rejoicing of fans, Tucci is charming his way through Italian regions once more.
I’ve been watching, and I have thoughts to share. In Episode One, Tucci explores Tuscany—the region I know best. While Florence made an appearance, he also ventured off the beaten path to Carrara and Colonnata up north, and the wild Maremma down south.
The show breezes through each stop relatively quickly so I’ll elaborate and share some local insight. I have some opinions on the food stops he made in Florence, and I want to cover some aspects of Carrara/Colonnata and the Maremma that Tucci’s show didn’t discuss.
Perhaps this can be an unofficial companion guide to the first episode😆
Let’s dig in.
